Friday AGAIN....already have 49 hours in at work 4 more to go! finally got the lights bought for my Parents Christmas gift and we will be installing them this weekend. Hopefully it will brighten up their kitchen more. they still have the original lights in the kitchen from when they bought the house over 40 years ago. they have most things updated except these lights!

Friday

Whew what a week. I can't believe it already Friday. Almost time to the Big Day of Church and Football!! I worked 40 hours in 4 days again almost got caught up. really like the paychecks that come with overtime. Putting the money away for vacations and bathroom remodeling, maybe a fence for the back yard so the dogs can run. My oldest son was 17 last Tuesday....where does the time go. I can still remember him as a baby, boy was he little. He was only 5lbs 15 oz. when he was born. Now he is almost 6' wow! very amazing. I am so very glad that he is in my life even though we had a rough year last year which resulted in him living with his Dad Mike.

I spent the day looking at the Creation Museum website and playing with the kids on the Wii. we might go the the Creation Museum this summer with the kids if we can afford it. looking at camping sites and other stuff to do there. Its by Cincinnati, OH.
We think it would be a fun trip. as I look to tomorrow, my prayers will be with Haiti again and also with the special election in Massachusetts.

Monday

Another Monday.... At least I have the day off. I got the bathroom 1/2 way done. I stripped off the glue form the wallpaper the was there finally. It only took me 6 months. Now to get rid of tile, the vanity, the sink and lights. Big project and we don't have anything picked out yet. I think I want olive green in the bathroom, but Jeremy is not so sure. The final color will be picked out when we pick out the sink and cabinet.
Hey the Vikings won yesterday WOOHOO! I hope they they will next week too.
My parents are in South Carolina for a month. I think its something they will be doing every year unless my mom finds she doesn't like it. My dad bring her wherever she wants to go.

finally posting!!!

Well after working non stop for the last 2 months time to post something here. So far 2010 has been a great year for my family! I hope its better then the last. So far the kids are doing what they are supposed to be doing in school and Jeremy and I are both still employed (cross our fingers). With more and more people losing jobs every day We are uncertain about ours as well. as long as the U needs steam Jeremy should have a job. And for me as long as they dont outsource my job overseas i will too.
